The fact of the matter is, if you put him on a A and thats what he had there was no way he was folding his hand anyways and you should know that. Theres no possibly way someone is laying down the second nuts in this case and putting you on a 3.

What if i was wrong? what if he had a 9, or 1010-KK? what if my approach had made the diffrence? isn't it better to error on the side of caution, then the side of persumuiousness? thx for the post

Your act makes it easier to fold 10-10-KK. You can make it look like your baffled without talking. I find talking unless trained in table talk is more trouble then it's worth.

I for one, like your play, it's a friendly game and he is your buddy. I would have applauded one of my buddies for making a play like this on me.

I would have laughed and folded, saying thanks for telling me your hand.

Well I'd slap you upside the head and never invite you to another home game. Not because of ethics, just because that is one annoying thing to do.

you did nothing wrong.

it was not a slowroll because a slowroll refers to delaying an all in call with the nuts or delaying at showdown.

by the way. Ax is not the 2nd nuts but rather the 4th nuts behind AA and 99.
