[ QUOTE ]

Do you mean call the turn for 80 chips, or call the allin?

[/ QUOTE ]

I mean the allin.

I was hoping you didn't see this thread. Please don't yell at me about how stupid my first response was.

Flop: (t150) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB folds, MP2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets t150.

[/ QUOTE ]

everybody has checked to you showing no strength and nobody raised preflop [who limped with overcards?] if someone who checked before you has a hand, you're gonna find out now instead of facing an ugly decision on the turn [i.e. a turn completed straight or semi-bluff all-in with a flush draw].

Betting say 100 or 150 here is good if you have reads on at least a couple of these people, because by default I'm assuming they're not folding the 50% of the time you need to make that 150 bet good.

Turn, meh, call and river your boat (although you're behind way more than the 50/30/20 breakdown or whatever someone said, there's always the times he has two pair.)

especially when you had the chance/realize that you could have bet on the flop after everyone checked.

I almost instantaneously retracted that statement.
