Default Playing with fire on the bubble -- or -- madly mixing metaphors

No reads. I suck. Am new to 4-tabling the $22s.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) converter

UTG (t208)
Button (t4576)
SB (t1468)
Hero (t1748)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t800) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets t400, Hero ... ?

pooooosh.

if this were against the button I would easily, easily fold, but you can

a) get SB to fold a lot
b) still win the hand a ton of times if called
c) if you lose you can still have a decent shot at 3rd

Pretty much any other chip setup I fold, if SB has me covered I fold easily, or if its against the button, but I like pushing here.

Push preflop. Since you've got enough to complete SB next round too if you lose, push the flop.

What they said. You've got a good chance at third even if you lose, a good chance at taking down the pot without a showdown, and a good chance to win even if it does come to a showdown. Poooooosh

I would definitely push here, but what do you all think about calling to see the turn in this situation? Or even semi-bluff raising thats not all-in...many possibilities
