Default babyflush

2/4NL stacks about $400 each

I have 4h5h in the BB. LP min raises to $8, SB and me in the BB call.

flop come 9QA all hearts.

SB bets $20, i make it $65. SB calls.

turn offsuit 6. SB checks, i bet $130. he calls

river offsuit 2, he insta pushes for approx 200 more.

What do you do here, and how is the play in general?

I like how you played it, and when it comes to the river? I call without thinking much of it. the board aint paired, and you got 2 of the 5 hearts in your hand. If he flopped a higher flush, i pay him his money without much regret.

You win if he's on a bluff with the busted nut draw. Otherwise you lose. (Hands like sets would put the money in the pot sooner if they really felt they should get their whole stack in.) And with the amount of strength you've shown, I wouldn't expect to see a bluff too often. But it sure sucks to be faced with decisions with no reads...

I called, and sure enough the guy had a flush.

It was however an even smaller flush! he has 2h3h.

I think a lot of the time here tho I go broke, so I was pretty unsure if I made the right play
