One of my old roomates (a decent highschool varsity caliber player) used to practice with the girls bball team here at UW. He told me that the pickup games at the gym are tougher than playing with them (I used to practice at the same time they did over the Summer, and I could tell he wasn't exagerrating). Aside from jump shooting, most of the really good female basketball players have almost no edge on the average male player. I get the feeling that almost any average or better D1 player would destroy the WNBA Wilt Chamberlain style.

Ok, now how many UW players could make a WNBA roster? Zero?
I get the feeling that almost any average or better D1 player would destroy the WNBA Wilt Chamberlain style. Wouldn't be Chamberlain-esque but he'd do very well. If Indie is good enough to get quality minutes for an A-10 men's team, I'll concede he could possibly get a triple-double in the WNBA.

[/ QUOTE ] Twas a jopke. Ok. It was a bad thread. Sorry. The WNBA is horrible, and it's final game of the season has one small article in the paper. It was in the back near the horse racing form and stripper ads.
