$50 tournie on UB 10th hand QQ..2 all ins before me!!!

10th hand in a $50 tournament just now. I have no information on my opponents. This hand i pick up QQ in middle position. utg bets 95, i raise to 300, player right after me goes all in for 1465, utg quickly calls!! Was i right to fold? Especially considering not knowing anything about the table?

Unless you have better reads and can put both of your opponents on AK/AQ/AJ/AT or smaller PP hands, I think this is an OK fold. If both opponents have unpaired Aces you are a favorite as their As reduce the number of outs.

It's early, you have plenty of time to catch another big hand.

It's hard to say. Sometimes you see the AK/JJ, sometimes you see the KK/AA. I tend to call because I'm always looking to gamboooool.

ugh. it's pretty close. you're not that far off from having odds to call if they do have AA and JJ. but i think one of them has AA/KK a lot more often than neither does, so i think the fold is good.

by my rough math you have to win ~25%, and if there's an overpair out you're ~17%, if not then you're ~50%. so you need to see no overpair 1/3 as often than yes overpair ([25-17] * 3 ~= 50-25). i think you'll see an overpair at least 5x as often as no overpair.
