I like your line, I agree with what many others have said about just playing it fast on the flop, but given your read that he isnt aggresive enough to be good, I like your line a little better. He prolly isnt 3 betting any flop unless he has AJ (its really doubtful he has A6) so I think you are better off doing what you did. He may also just wait till the turn to raise his "monster" AJ and then it could shut out the BB, when you easily could have strung him along a BB at a time. The truth of the matter is tho, that it prolly doesnt really matter a whole lot what you do here, its going to work out pretty close.

River is definitely a bet, and I get scared if it gets raised, but you still have to call.
