Correct me if i am wrong, but raising with a flush draw against 5 opponents isnt raising for a free card. Arent we raising for value there because we expect to make our flush 35% of the time agains 5 other players (givign us a HUGE equity edge)?
Also the assumption is by raising the passive players will check to us and we are saving a small bet or so to see our hand all the way through. Again this is assuming the players are very predictable.

I'm referring to the turn (after they called your flop raise). Then we are a bit worse than 4:1, so jamming the pot is slightly -EV even if all players stay in, which often they won't, and assuming no one else has any cards of your suit, which they often do.

wow.... i am not sure where my head is at, but i was operating under the impression that we had a flush draw..... im such a tool!

We do have a flush draw. You do understand that the odds of making a flush are different on the flop and on the turn, right?
