Default 5/10 KK

Villian is a regular. He's like 34/12 and aggressive.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

CO ($1941)

BB ($862)
UTG ($190)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $5.

Flop: ($545) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

What's my plan? In the hand I checked and he bet $275. Should have put in another bet preflop? Should I bet the flop? I was thinking of check raising all in on any J-high or lower board. Is that bad?

Even if you've been reraising a lot, he has AA more often than anything else. If you c/r all-in on the flop, he may be able to get away from QQ (and obviously AK). Another bet preflop would be horrible. I honestly don't mind check/folding this flop, although I'm not sure I'd be able to do it in the heat of the moment.

I agree about check/folding but his reraise was so weak I was thinking he can't be AA but rather QQ trying to find out if I have AA.

Or you know, it's AA being a retard and trying to bet smaller so as to not scare you away...

I see the small reraise as AA trying to keep you in the hand. Of course, I wasn't at the table, so I can't judge reads and table texture. The small c-bet fits with my story too: that's a really safe board and he wants to stack KK/QQ, because there's no way KK/QQ folds to a half-pot bet, right?

check-folding this flop is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Either get it allin here, or it's allin/fold preflop

IMO, here is the key. You should know how he plays hands like AA, KK, QQ, etc. and make your read based on your history with the villain. This goes a little beyond the information that PokerTracker can give you.
