Default River decision

CO is a loose and passive fish. Made me break my closet a while ago.

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (5 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 folds, CO calls, 1 folds, SB completes, Hero raises, CO calls, SB calls.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds.

Turn: (4.00 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (6.00 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero?

I just so wanted to call but what will this retard raise that I beat here?

How good was your read that he was loose and passive? I think you are almost always beat here, but if you are unsure, he could have some agressive tendencies. I think a fold is standard though. He could have been slowplaying a flush, an 8, or for some reason like his T. I think this happens at least 9/10 times.

you beat a bluff. he has J9/96 or a slowplayed 8/flush like all the time. save a bet. stop playing, too, if you're breaking stuff. sounds like me.

You could consider calling on a 6 or a 5, but that T just adds a whole lot more ways that you lose beyond those. Fold, and log off. It's time for a beer.

sevens up? or eights up is it....

I think nuttin. You said he's loose/passive, so the raise is a bad sign. I think this is kind of a bet/fold type of board/river.

I've broken too many mice to even consider playing when on tilt. That's why I buy cheap mice now.

If he's bluffing its a very good bluff that only a thinking player could pull off.

Fold.
