Default HU 50/100 hand 1

Opponent is Redgar3 on pokerrroom/eurobet.

I open j9o in the SB, he calls in the BB. Flop is A97 2 clubs. He check-raises, i 3 bet, he calls. Turn is the Kd. Check-check. River is a low dud. Bet-call.

Could be standard, just checking in because i havent played limit in some time.

with no info on the opponent or how he plays, who knows.. i mean if you bet the turn will he checkraise you with the same draw he checkraised on the flop? double semi bluff? i think i like a turn bet because a lot of bad cards can come on the river if you have the best hand, and vs. decent opponent you can lay it down if he c/r

My inital thinking was that worse 9's might fold and i would induce river bluffs since most opponents would c/t the flop with any draw here. However, i have never played this opponent before.

Also, anyone know who this guy is? We played maybe like 40 hands and he refuses to play me. He sits at these tables waiting for opponents all the time, i can't imagine he decided he didnt want to play me based on those few hands, nothing special happened.

40 HU hands is in most cases enough to tell the difference between "solid" and "bad" opponents. its perfectly possible that he's not interested in playing unless he knows he has a fairly large edge.

I know redgar very well. He tends to play absolutely no one except for the biggest of fish, or sometimes, if you get him stuck quickly he plays for a long time then leaves when he makes some ground back. With regards to the hand- HU a worse nine will not fold the turn. (in regars case) id defenitely bet/fold turn and value bet river. Id imagine he had like 910/ 96 etc

also, whats your name on PR/eurobet if you dont mind me asking?

In HU matches, the SB is on the button and acts first, so BB acts first on flop, turn, river.
