Default Short stacked QQ hand

Since I've just moved up to 50NL, I've been buying in short, but here, I actually think it commits me. Reads for this villin are that, for the previous 40 hands or so, there was colassal fish at the table, who had somehow accumulated over $150 in chips. This fish would call with anything and everything raising 32s UTG and raising with bottom pair. Accordingly, the rest of us had not really played each other yet, and while I noticed people were calling him down with 3rd pair, good kicker, I was not sure if that was because they were equally fishy or they were playing off him. The villian in this case was the worst and I suspected he might be nearly as bad, and had just found someone even fishier than himself. In any event, he could easily be on almost any hand involving paint or a potential draw. I have seen him fold when it is really really obvious he is beat, but otherwise, I'm not sure there is any fold equity with this guy. What's the line?

In my opinion, you can't play scared of AK here. I think you bet maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the pot, which is a lot of your stack i know, and if he comes over the top, you know you are probably beat.

If I bet 1/2-3/4 of the pot and he flat calls, then how do I play the river? Checking and hoping for check behind seems to just beg to be put AI. The way I'm thinking of this hand, I'm not sure there is anyways I can avoid being stacked, given my stack size, but I end up getting stacked without a clear idea of what my opponent has.
