LOL, I think I visited like two porn sites in the year that I've had this computer. And they were probably OOT links.

It's good to be careful w/ online stuff. I had some hacker probs, but luckily the hacked accts were caught and I was contacted to reset my account - Details in my post in wt's thread. They are pretty serious about the security, on the webpage to reset the account you had to know all the old info, as well as some add'l verification info, before they would reset my account information and send me new passwords, etc. Looks like they're doing some manual verification (or maybe they send me the new info in regular mail?) as it still hasn't shown up, but hopefully I'll be all set when I get up tomorrow.

The problem with posts like this is that people are going to think you're joking around. I know you're trying to make an informative post to help out the members of our forum so I just want to clarify for the rest of OOT that you're serious.

I'd never open zip files without knowing 100% for sure something was legit, and it doesn't seem logical that you'd have to put questions in a zip file instead of just printing them out right there in the body of the communication. Further, a guy signing his name without a title is absurd.

But the return address thing threw me and made me paranoid about throwing it out. I never would have opened the zip file without checking first, though. Worst case scenario if you ignore a legit e-mail probably is that they send you a real letter by snail mail, and you're not any worse off than you might have been in the first place.

I never used to get spam, and once I signed up for gamespot.com, I started getting tons of it within the hour.
