Default Extraction technique with the absolute nuts...?

Converter doesn't work for PRIMA if IIRC, so have made it as user friendly as possible....

Background :

I have been at table for 3/4 orbits, have been raising with air and with PP's....fairly lag appearance I assume....Villain is fairly LAG non-aggressive.....(32/2)
I have been raising most suited connectors when first to act and folding to strong reraises.....My Postflop AF is fairly high about ~ 5/6.......

Prima 50c/$1...10 Handed...

- MP1 sitting in seat 1 with $98.00
- MP2 sitting in seat 2 with $99.00
- MP3 sitting in seat 3 with $91.90
- LP sitting in seat 4 with $49.00
- BUTTON sitting in seat 5 with $84.30 [Dealer]
- SB sitting in seat 6 with $196.23
- BB (VILLAIN) sitting in seat 7 with $66.03
- UTG sitting in seat 8 with $92.80
- HERO sitting in seat 9 with $138.30
- UTG+2 sitting in seat 10 with $109.35

SB posted the small blind - $0.50
Villain posted the big blind - $1.00
LP posted to play - $1.00

** Dealing card to HERO: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG folded
HERO raised - $3.00
2 Folds
MP2 called - $3.00
MP3 called - $3.00
Folded to Villain
VILLAIN called - $3.00

** Dealing the flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

VILLAIN checked
HERO bet - $4.00
2 folds
VILLAIN called - $4.00

** Dealing the turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

VILLAIN bet - $5.00
HERO raised - $10.00
VILLAIN called - $10.00

** Dealing the river: 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

VILLAIN checked
HERO ???

What bet is going to be called ? I'm going to assume I missed my chance with the turn bet of extracting more cash...?

I hate raising SC pre-flop OOP, but since you did you should have bumped up the turn to $20-$25 and then bet the pot on the river. You are only getting paid by another flush or a moron who thinks his straight is good and they will each call a pot-sized river bet.

raising turn to $15-18 gets more money from A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. If he doesn't have a flush he just isn't going to pay you, so I raise the turn to extract from draws, and overbet the river to look like a steal and get called by a king and a baby flush. If he folds, well next time make sure he has the second nuts when you turn the nuts

Villain is fairly LAG non-aggressive.

Those loose aggressive types that aren't aggressive always give me problems.

Raise more on the turn. I probably push the river people who are paying on river generally aren't too concerned with bet size. Espcially loose passive types like this guy.

fold pf. I did an experiment like this..cost me a bit of money. really this is the way to go unless this game is extremely fishy.

Raise turn to $15 IMO. you want him to draw with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Also, keep in mind the strength of your hand does not have an exact relation with how much money you will make with it.

Bet more on every street except preflop. Why on earth would you bet $4 into a $13 4-way pot on the flop?

bet more on the flop. the pot is $12...would you bet $4 if you had AA? there should be harmony between your bluffs and your real hands..

might as well push the river. with villain's stack, he'll call a push if he's going to call anything...

FWIW, I bet $15 and the bet was called....

His hand was mucked and I don't know what he had...
I think I should have pushed...

Thanks for the replies....

id bet the 1/2 pot, and only so litte because if hes really LAG, he will reraise you thinking he can push you off, so i think a small bet 15-20ish will show weakness, and then maybe you can extract some, or just make a reall small bet like 5$ so he might call you with a K, or a small flush
