I'd bet out $22, cause I think he can call with a lot of hands he would check behind ie a high flush draw, and he'll raise a straight and maybe two pair.

$22 looks good. However, I'd like him to raise me if he has a straight or two pair or tries to get frisky representing a flush; and so for that reason I think I'd bet $18. It's not missing too much value if he just calls, but it looks weakish (under that $20 threshhold) enough that it might be an invitation to raise.

Looks well played from your end. I'm trying to think what villain has that will get him to call. He may have a busted flush draw, in which case he folds. Your only chance is he made the straight. Bet the pot, which is what you've done all along. He'll either fold or raise. He'll probably not give you credit for the back door flush, or he could have a lesser back door flush. You can't control any of this. Bet the pot!

What hands would you think that he would bet there? This is the play that I was thinking might be most optimal. I bet the pot in this hand. Villain called with a pair of 10s thinking I missed the flush. I had him the whole way.

bet 3/4 of pot in these cases, and pray he raise straight, awkward two pair, etc.
