even without taking the dead money in the pot into account, the call is still +ev if the cold caller has a straight. just run the numbers yourself on twodimes.

ya...i think at the time i had a good strategy point, but this really was a ridiculously easy call. sorry about that, i'll try to find a better one to post. this one is definitely pretty lame.

anyways one guy had 77 and the other had 45.

The guy that pushed raised it to 11$ pre flop then pushed the flop. I dont think he was raising it up with 5-7, smells like an overpair.

Folding here is almost as to fold two aces preflop because you didnt have the ace of spade...
