Default Good Specs/Good Buy?

Alright guys, just real quick review of the laptop I am looking at buying:

Dell Inspiron 9300
Intel Pentium M 1.73Ghz
17" WUXGA Display
1GB dual channel DDR2 SDRAM
128MB ATIs™ Mobility Radeon™ X300
60GB Hard Drive

I pretty much assume the specs are good for a mobile poker computer but what I was hoping to find out is whether a total price of $1357 is a good deal on this computer?

Oh hell no. Its a good computer but you are paying way too much for that. You really need to look for the dell coupon codes that come out. I got a code giving $750 off any $1500+ laptop. So I got my $1600 laptop for $800 (came with 3 year warranty). You should research the coupon codes on fatwallet.com or gotapex.com. Wait for the best one to come along.

The 9300 is a nice model, but you should watch the video reviews that are on the pages of cnet.com. The 9300 has a big screen, but man is that thing heavy. Its like a 8+lbs.
That is quite heavy for a laptop. My 600m is 4.5 lbs and it just feels so much easier to move around.

The video card seems kinda high, you really need a 128mb video card on that thing? You plan to play some heavy FPS games on it? If not, thats too much, get a smaller video card.

It was a deal at fatwallet, 45% certain notebooks. The 128MB video card was the only option. The list price was 2300+. I'm not exactly worried about the 8 pounds. I won't be struggling to lift 8 lbs. This was the only one of the laptops 45% off that I could get that would 4-table without overlap. I am just wondering if I should wait, will there be a better deal on the 9300 or the 6000?

You have to use the link and then choose that specific Inspiron. If you use the value code lookup it will make it easier to get the right 9300 that will take the coupon...

Evalue Code 11111-i9300a2
