Default Spyware/Popup Help

I downloaded both Adaware and Spyware Search and Destroy, both found some spyware on my computer but would not remove it unless i paid around 30 bucks, is there any completely free spyware removal out there?

I have Norton Antivirus that came with my computer, but when i run it, it doesnt come up with the spyware.

Thanks in advance.

I've never seen either of these two programs prompt for payment to fix the spyware. But you can always google search for 'Download Microsoft Anti-spyware". This product is free.

Hm I use "spybot search and destroy" (not spyware S+D) and its completely free you can donate but they don't charge anyting to remove spyware.

As for Adware (the free version now seems to be called Ad-Aware) There is a free version for private use and I think there is a pay version for businesses and possibly extra features in the personal version.
You shoul not have to pay are you sure you downloaded spyBOT S+D and Ad-Aware SE?
