Do you use the kids urinal?

So earlier today I was using the restroom. It had one stall with a toilet (which was occupied), one regular height urinal (which I was using), and one shorter/kids urinal.

Some guy walks in, sees the situation and waits for me to finish so that he can use the regular urinal instead of the kids one.

Is this normal? Personally I don't care and use the kids one if it is the only one left. I have also used it so as to avoid being directly next to another person who is peeing.

Also, since I was thinking about this for a good portion of my day, what is the point of having urinals of different heights? Why not just have them all short enough so that even short people and kids can use them? It's not like they would be any less usable by those of us of normal height if they were a little shorter.

It takes less material to build ones a couple feet long than ones that go all the way to the ground. It's all about the Benjamins.

so just make them the same size, but position them a little lower so they are accessable to all

Then you've got potential problems with people who are tall enough so that they've got to worry about hitting the top.

this is the reason i make it my last option, but yeah it's dumb to wait to pee when an open urinal is available.

Being 6'6" even the "normal" urinals are a bit short most of the time, so no, I do not use the kids urinal.

Most of the time I prefer the stall anyway.

I hate going with another dude next to me. If I can, I go to the stall.

I always use the stall if possible!

I just dont like the whole urinal idea.
