This isn't the first time he min-raised me in bb, so I figured since its my first time picking up a "hand" he will lay it down. Stupid? Foolish? Monsterious?

I think you picked a bad time for the resteal attempt. I think there's a very good chance he calls you here and you don't want to be stuck with 8 hi when that happens.

Exactly what I was afriad of that he now would get pot-odds on his call. Win this hand I will atleast get second, ec. But He has done this 4 or 5 times without a challenge(Never got a hand). So I figured he was a weaker player that would lay down his hand, I also figured if he had a good hand he will just complete.

BTW. He laid it down.

I don't mind it. It's a risk, but I could take it pretty easily. Though he may feel pot committed and call anyway, at which point, I think you're in trouble with anything he has.

I think its too risky, you are leaving villain with 3BB if he folds so he is liekly going to call with weak As,Ks,Qs etc
