Re: Too weak with AA?
you raise to $4 preflop and follow that up with a $5 bet on the flop?

Re: Too weak with AA?
I like a turn or river checkraise here. I think you are way ahead, especially after the board paired on the river. Yes you played this WAY too weakly. The flop raise usually means top pair, which you beat. I will typically call that raise, then checkraise him big on the turn.

Re: Too weak with AA?
I actually like your line - a checkraise on the turn and he probably folds - you want to extract as much as possible from him, which I think is what you did here...

Re: Too weak with AA?
I'm wondering if a turn checkraise is a good idea here, considering how the flop action makes it tough to put the villian on a hand.

Re: Too weak with AA?
I think the most likely hand is top pair. Sure a set or an extremely ragged two pair is likely, but I doubt it. If he comes over the top of your checkraise, then you have a decision, but I think the AA is ahead here more often than it's behind.

Re: Too weak with AA?
I usually second guess my opponent's honesty when they raise me after I've bet like I had nothing. Betting $7 takes care of that.
