Big Stack: 32,000 Me: 11,500 Short Stack: 3,000 Blinds 500/1,000 1st Place: $425. 2nd Place $250.00 3rd Place: $115.00 Given the difference between 3rd and 2nd I told myself to sit tight until the short stack went broke and not to tangle with the big stack until then. The moment I tell myself that I look down and see KK in the BB and the big stack raises to $3,000 on the button, short stack folds the SB. Oh well so much for sitting tight

small stack had 3BB. It's possible that he might be want to take a look at a flop to see if it had an ace on it.
