I think I played this like a limit player
Same old 1-1-2 game.
I come in for 6 first in from LP with 7c9c. BB calls. Never played with him before, but others seem to know him, so he's not a complete newbie. He has about 200, I have about the same. Flop. 8c 5c 2h. He checks, I bet 10, he calls. Turn. Ad. I figure it's a decent scare card for me if he called with a pair, so I bet about 25, and he calls. River. Js. He checks. In limit, I think it's an auto-bet. Would you bet here? If so, how much? I'm curious if you would have played the previous parts much differently. |

Re: I think I played this like a limit player
Bet the same amount you would bet if you had AA. $50-60 is probably a good amount.
I'd say this is a reasonable bluffing spot, although AcXc is a possible hand for him and he may very well call. If you can rule out AcXc because he would play that hand aggressively, then I would be more inclined to bluff. Paul |

I'd move all in on the river. That will usually make 'em lay it down
No, really I would need more information on this player and your table image. You did well to bet this 12-outer aggressively. Usually I check on the end, but it feels wrong here - they must surely have been on a draw, or can't have anything that good. Are they a calling station? |
