profanity in advertizing

In many forum FAQ's and in the statments of moderators, it is said that using creative spelling to curse is not allowed. I assume this means that if "ass" were censored, we would not be allowed to type "A$$" in its place.

Why then, is this ad permitted:

I do disagree with the policy, but it seems that if it is in place, it should be applied universally.
