What did you say to get the money back into the account after the e-mail? Just apologize profusely?

Thanks for pointing out that winnings that are in an online poker account really aren't under your complete control, and therefore can't be considered income for tax purposes.

every online cent is at risk all the time.

I don't agree with ffishon very often but this is definitely one of those times.

You have to remember that it's THEY who are holding your money.
If you aren't comfortable with the risk involved...and the idea that they can just pack-up and leave with your money ANY TIME they want to (with zero legal recourse by you) then you shouldn't be playing/depositing online.

I'm comfortable with the risks involved and understand that I can get taken by a given site anytime they decide to go after anyone for whatever reason they please (such as anyone who owns cats, talks too much, and/or is 5'6" or shorter).
I try to approach the situation responsibly though. This includes not keeping too much on any given site at any given time.

Jesus, just pay your [censored] taxes. The IRS certainly won't be sympathetic to your lame quasi-legal arguments; those that will be are likely idiots as well.

I pay every single penny of every tax I am legally required to pay. That is what the IRS expects and requires, nothing more.

you need to play 25% of the amount in raked hands, if it is the same as party - ie. play 250 hands
