Default Results and thoughts

I bet, he folded. I think if I checked I would have initiated a bluff. I think he would have raised the river if he had a hand like JX (X = broadway). He folds a hand AT or KT to a bet, but I think he would bet these hands if checked to.

Preflop was my "possible" mistake, but looking back I like it (though I don't hate the idea of 3 betting -- I just had "one of those reads" on this cat postflop, which is why I didn't). I think I clearly should have checked the river.

I would check the turn because he's raising when he has Jacks, it'd be tough for you to fold to a raise, and I don't think he's taking a free card hardly ever.

I use the term muppet instead of donkey. I think it sounds cooler. I imagine I'm actually playing muppets sometimes, doing weird and sometimes virtually random things. Some poster used the term once, and I loved it so much I adopted it.

Your welcome.

Jaxup,
I'm Australian not British. And I just imagine Gonzo with a couple of cards.

BTW- NH (other than the river)

Or an overpair, which he will play like this.

Not really.

You are probably correct on this point.

Edit: Never mind - apparantly I can't distinguish between 'overpair' and 'overcards'. Anyway, I don't really see the downside in checking if you're pretty sure he'll bet. I'd like to get to showdown vs. this player, because I occasionally raise this turn with OC's when I'm on tilt and i'm probably not as aggro as him.
