[/ QUOTE ] This is wrong, the clock doesn't run on extra points, so after a touchdown, a team can attempt a PAT weather there is time or not.

Of course but any reasonably smart team takes a knee if forced to. However, I've never seen a team kick in that situation...thinking back to the Colorado game in 94, or the State game in 01, neither team had to kick, and its just as well as they're kneeling and ending it anyway so no point in clearing the field for that.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty certain that in the NCAA, you don't get to try that PAT. In the NFL, it is mandated that you must. (Not in OT, but at the end of regulation, even if it is 44-6.)
