I think it's been that way for a lot longer than that. I can't really go through long-standing accounts and post data on them on this forum, but on my personal account from before I took a job here, I see an auto creditback from September 2003.

I have no idea how much earlier it was in place, but I suspect it's been that way forever.

It is tied to total deposited. As long as your total withdrawals are less than your total deposits, you get instant cashouts.
