Default $100 PL - 66 UTG

just moved to table

here's a quick rundown of the stacks, starting w/ UTG+1 going clockwise:
1.5k, 1.5k, 1.5k, 2.5k, 5k, 2k, 14k

the big stack is the BB

blinds are 75/150

you have 66 utg w/ 2800, your action (note it is PL)?

too simple? too boring? no one likes me?

my initial thought that all 3 options probably run pretty close in terms of EV, perhaps that is the case...

it's only 8-handed? i'd fold if it were 10-handed for sure. i think i'd still fold here. i might raise if the BB did not have ~one zillion chips.

agreed. In PL you can play small pairs like this for good value. Rarely bring it in for a raise especially if you get reraised. Try to keep the pot small until you see the flop...

You say inevitably raised. You assume a real loose fishy table.

If you are expecting to be raised, you can fold.

If you are raised, you can call, fold, or reraise pot, depending on the situation and your read.

how often do you figure a hand goes unraised preflop in a random tournament hand? 10% max, and thats being generous

Only at a table with bad loose aggressive players.

If that is the case, I would play for a limpraise every time with this stack size and TT, AQ, or better.
