It doesn't even compare because we have a population of 20 million. The popularity explosion is probably quite similar but its relative to our population. The US poker population would probably exceed the total population of Australia.

Last year 250 players entered the 10K main event known as the Aussie Millions, with Hachy's wsop win I wonder what that number is going to be this year?
