Default When to buy back to the max in a NL ring game?

For my discussion, let's assume I've bought into a NL $100 max ring game for the maximum $100 amount. Now we assume that I have say $600 to wager that session. What is the rule of thumb as to when I should buy more chips to get back to $100 max when my stack gets to be lower than $100? $75? $50? Is there a standard that exists here?

Thanks for any insight.

Greg H.

Playing online just keep yourself at the max buy in virtually all the time. When you're playing live you don't have to get out of line. I wouldn't bother rebuying until I drop below $75 in $100 game. You may lose a small amount of EV, but it looks strange if you're constantly rebuying in a live game and you already have almost a full stack.

When I'm less than 60% of max buy-in.

Online I click "rebuy" almost instinctively after any hand where I hold less than $100.00.

Live, I guess the dealer and the chip runner would get rather tired of you doing that. But rebuying at $70 or so seems reasonable.
