People will play JJ+ like this quite often, he doesn't need to put you specifically on AA.

Heh, I certainly don't play JJ like this. Actually I do play QQ like this most of the time and KK all of the time. So really my range is 3 hands. Why would he call then if he's not way ahead or has AK? It's like I'm almost hoping for him to be an idiot or have AK.

Should I just call preflop?

Maybe not, but what's more important is that most of our SNG friends do.

If he thinks you have JJ-QQ, he's close (one way or the other) to the right price to call you with any A. Above and beyond, you can't always assume that your opponents are going to think the same way you are. It's doubtful that he puts you on a range at all, and even if he does, given the way low level SNGs are played it's very plausible that the range he puts you on can be something like 77+, AT+, KQ.

I suppose. Results: He called me with JJ (I held up, too ). And all I could think was, I wouldn't have called with JJ there..

If he is agressive he probably reckons you act like he would. So AA-JJ, AK, perhaps more.

Could his hand be any more obvious? It's JJ and up and he's calling your push almost all the time with any of those hands. I know you wouldn't but I doubt you'd put in that reraise with JJ and position either, especially if you were folding to a push. No need to smooth call because some flops can ruin your action (especially against like JJ), although it's really not that risky as you can check raise almost every flop no matter what. I'd just push and I'd be very confident he'd call.
