I typically get $300 from the atm when I need to restock cash, but only cary 20 or 40 unless I have a specific need for more cash. I really see no reason to cary a lot of cash when I have plastic and live in a city. (Well, I can see no reason for me at this point in my life; there are plaenty of things you can mention in OOT that will NOT get you banned that are, um, plastic unfriendly, but they don't apply to me at this stage of my life.)
