The Jungle Book is a great movie. Very charming, fun, and enjoyable. The Lion King is the masterpiece of Disney animation. The Lion King is Stairway to Heaven/the Godfather II/Ocarina of Time. This shouldn't even be close.

[/ QUOTE ] Except that unlike Stairway to Heaven, where the end of the song is well constructed, the last quarter of The Lion King is a total hack rush job with little to no thought be hind it, which totally ruined the tremendous movie that the first 3/4's was.

[/ QUOTE ] It's because people will tend to vote on what they got wowed by as a kid, especially if it was in a theater, and almost none of the people here are old enough to have seen Jungle Book as a real little kid in a theater.
