Default Edward Looney thinks you\'ll kill yourself, stop playing now!

Saw an anti-gambling guy on MSNBC tonight talking about online gaming being an epidemic on campuses across the country....

Says all online gamblers will go through 3 phases, the winning phase, the losing phase, and the desperation phase.

Based on some of hte posts around here I'd say you are all in the losing phase... some borderlining the desperation phase.

So when you resort to stealing to support your gambling habit (which according to Mr. Looney is inevitable) remember this thread!

Oh yeah the guy's name was Looney... and I'm not kidding.

The trick is to get all the guys in the desperation phase on your buddy list before they kill themselves.

I'm pretty sure the guy is right. Hell, I go through all three stages several times each time I play.

I think it'd be funnier to go and when they ask us how much we've lost, we could reply "Lost? Oh, no, I'm not down. Actually, I'm up tens of thousands of dollars. No, luck has nothing to do with it. Anyway, I just think maybe I have a problem."
