Did I play this poorly?

AKo is strongest preflop and on the flop . . . so its best to bet these rounds (especially when you make top pair with the best possible Kicker and you are not "playing overcards") . . . you really only want to slowplay when there is little risk that someone will draw out on you. (uncoordianted board) . . . and your hand must be very VERY strong . . . top pair (generally) isn't stong enough to slowplay in my humble opinion [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img], the added value of deception is not worth the loss of bets at this point.
