Default 10/20 QQuestionable fold

UTG is unknown postflop, his stats are 31/22/2.5 over a conserable number of hands.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, 3 folds</font>, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets</font>, BB folds, UTG raises</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
UTG bets</font>, Hero folds.

Is this a really bad fold against an unknown with those stats? And if I decide to fold before showdown should I fold on the flop already?

Also, what's up with the converter? I don't see anyone else have trouble with it but me - perhaps it doesn't like the old skins?

You need to change the option on the site to 2+2 forums instead of FTR to get the colors to work right.

FWIW, I play much lower than you, but my stats are comparable to villain's (I am a little tighter) and I can tell you if villain was me you're not ahead of much. 99-77 is about it. I like calling down if the turn is not a club, though.

i think that this player is making these plays with much lesser hands. I want to three bet the flop, but that might slow him down on betting with what is likely to be the second best hand

So if I am Villain I can make you fold this hand everytime you don't have AA/KK/AK? All I have to do is invest one extra SB in a checkraise?

On a completely unrelated subject, what is your alias and what time of day do you like to play ?

Heh, I see your point if I always laid down a hand like that. My problem is usually the opposite as I am a bit of a calling station with a WTSD very close to 40, which is why this play felt especially wierd. If he limped preflop and I raise this is a call down for me. But here my thinking is that most do not have the balls to pull this move without the goods since I 3-bet (he must realize he has very little fold equity). The one thing I'm most worried about is I might have chosen the wrong opponent to not call down. The club on the turn actually decided it for me, which may be too weak.

Against this opponent a checkraise means nothing. If he actually had the goods he might easily just call to lead you on. You really can't do this third club notwithstanding

"Nothing" is taking it a bit far since I 3-bet preflop but maybe you are right my equity is in a good enough shape to call down.
