I think I am playing this hand till at least 4th or 5th. Look at all the cards acting behind seat 6 he could be on a steal with a weaker hand, I like a raise on 3rd.

I'd fold if they were split jacks, but since they're not, I think there's enough value later on if you hit.

I raise third, not fold. There are just too many players that will see such a weak board in front of them and attempt to make an early steal. If you know this guy never tries such a move, then maybe the fold is correct, but I don't know how you would know that. Even if has the goods and you end up heads up later on, then you are not that far behind assuming he is not rolled with the case nine. If he is solid, and you force the ten out, maybe he is smart enough to check to you and make seat 7 call 2 cold to hang around on fourth. Your hand being totally live adds to case for not folding.

Uh, I think playing for set value for two bets cold is a pretty bad idea.
