Default Downswing Question

So I've been a pretty solid winner online so far in 5/10 and 10/20 games. This week has been my worst losing streak ever I'm down 218 BB in 10/20 at the time of this post. I'm a poker prop so I play pleny of SH but I play a fair amount of full ring too. I have plenty of money for a swing like this but, IS THIS NORMAL?

I mean should a winning player have a downswing like this?

Yes, especially if you play short handed and against other props.

If you know your winrate and your SD you can figure out the likelyhood of a downswing like this happening. It's a little bit more difficult for you because you play in different types of games. But given that you play in games in which you are a winner but not a huge favorite, and you play a lot of shorthanded games, and the competition might be tougher in these games than you think, downswings like this will happen.

Well, here's one more. Certainly you will have losing streaks, and your 200BB is not uncommon, just uncomfortable. Better luck.

Take a break... don't play for 7 days. You'll feel better going back into it with a fresh mind.

Nah. I think there is a post by deacsoft about this, I'm not tilting and playing more hands will end it sooner, since posting I've won a few hundred. Propping is great but sometimes I wonder if I could win more otherwise, like playing on party. It is nice to lose for a week and make a profit because of prop pay though. Thanks.
