Default Brought a knife to a gunfight

Horribly played hand... Not much to learn here.

Two limpers, cutoff raises, I reraise the SB with AcAh. All call, 4 to the flop.

Flop is Jh8h6h. Not too shabby. I bet, get two callers. So far, so good.

Turn is [Jd] Jh8h6h. Well, I just fell behind to Jx, but I have oodles of outs, right? I bet, MP raises, CO reraises. Now, my read is a jack from one of them and a small flush from the other. I don't care that the board paired... Neither of them has a boat. I must have a ton of outs! So I cold-call. MP caps (which doesn't phaze me one bit), and we call.

River is a horrible, evil, twisted card, the dreaded two of hearts. Here's where I SHOULD have just bet my hand (a raise MIGHT have awoken me from my stupor), but alas, I'm a dolt. I check, MP bets, CO raises. I'll be honest... Neither of them had a boat in my mind at this point. So I reraised. Of course, MP capped and I called.

Imagine my surprise when 88 (MP) beat out 66 (CO) on the showdown.
