While watching the WSOP broadcast this evening of the Limit HE event, all you hear the announcers say is ..."If this was NO LIMIT...." Geezus christ guys. EVERY Tournament on TV is NO limit, give it a rest already. IF this....F THAT, this AINT NO LIMIT. It's real poker, Limit poker!

It's bad enough that NL is killing the good middle limit HE games nowadays. Now they are just drilling it into peopls heads that NL is so much easier! LOL yeah, easy to lose your bankroll on one hand.

When will you people realize that there will ALWAYS be new fish entering the game... Maybe not at the rate we have seen in the last few years, but a steady stream will always be there... This is why Vegas and every other gambling establishment has done so well over the years. 99.9% of those who come to Vegas are fish (anyone who plays casino games, if not a card counter, is a fish)... In poker its the same thing, newbies entering the game with little or no knowledge looking for fun and action with a foolish dream... It is a flaw in the vast majority of humans. The desire for "action" and a dream to get rich quick...

Even though I play for small stakes, when I play poker I feel like I am the house. I provide entertainment and action to those who keep giving me there money month after month...

Thanks for killing this thread guys. It wasn't about variance and crap. It was about announcers and degrading the limit games and promoting the NL games. Nice job.
