Small rant about internet qualifiers in the ME playing B&M...

Ok, just a small rant here. I noticed over the past 2 days quite a few internet qualifiers playing in our live games at work. What I also noticed is that they absolutely LOVE to tell bad beat stories and take INSANE amounts of time thinking about a $2 call. One guy even turned to another guy and used my favorite line..."the tv cameras are off, hurry and make a decision."

Lots of players that are just out having a good time are absolutely frustrated with these players and they all think they are god's gift to the poker world all the sudden.

God forbid they play in daily tournaments where the blinds are 20 or 30 minutes and not 2 freggin hours! All they do is cry that the blinds are too fast, where are the antes(wtf?), and so on.

On a good note, ALL of them that I've seen are either calling stations in NL or they just plain suck and have no idea how to play post flop. It's all in or fold. Oh yeah, most of them aren't tipping much if anything because they are all internet only players.

I'm surprised the title "friggin' bunghole idiot moron crybaby busted-outta-wsopME-on-first-day Jrrrrrama queen stiffs" didn't come to mind for you....

You see, you gotta remember, by the end of today approximately 3500 or so of these internet qualifying punks will have already busted out of the main event ON THE FIRST FRIGGIN' DAY. Now they're flocking to the LOW LIMIT rooms, because they are NOT high-roller, high-limit players, they are almost exclusively the friggin' morons who went all-in with 95o over and over and won their way into the main event from pokerstars and every other idiot online site that just wants free advertising by producing another friggin' moneymaker. (Sorry, I cannot group Raymer (the awesome player and long time 2+2er) into this rant, whether he got in via stars or not).

So anyone that happens upon one of these friggin' queens, please do kick them directly in the nuts, and tell them Capone sent ya.

Gee, and all you ever hear on this site is how much tougher internet players are and how terrible b&m players are by comparison. All you have to do is read most of the hand histories posted in the SS and mid-high forums to de-bunk this BS.

These internet players that I've seen, mind you is a small sample size, but they are absolutely terrible! LOL I almost want to head back out to work and play all night....

na....I'm drinking a few beers at home tonight and avoiding the tourist crowd.

it's really goddamn hard to play poker without that pfr raise and vp/ip stat in front of the player.

and it's so boring - real poker players play 8 tables at once -

and where are the comps? (bonuses) for the privilege of me playing at your casino?

and I don't see how when I give you fake names and work with my buddies that you have the right to ask me to leave your casino?

Yah - sorta tired of live poker myself - LOL

I'm a big fan of the NL donks who sit down at limit while they wait for a seat to open up. They proceed to play everything they're dealt and call all the way down to the river. Once there they face one big bet, stare you down, and take two minutes to decide whether they should call with third pair...

No, the GAMES are tougher. i.e. a 2/4 online game plays like a 5/10 or higher live game. It's because the same donks that play 2/4 online go and play 15/30 when the're on vacation. I completely expect to find Party $25 players in a $500 2/5 blinds game. The whole table won't be full of them, but the'll be there.
