Honestly, my degree of peeve was overstated (my post is a little tongue-in-cheek), but I really do think a lot of people (not necessarily you or anyone else reading this) may want to think about what people mean by "good" and "bad" variance. A lot of folks here seem to think that bad variance explains everything bad that happens to their bankrolls.
