Had the read but lost to 2 outer
EP is pretty snug and villian is very loose passive. This only thing I believe I could've done different was re-raise preflop but based on the 2 players types I couldnt stand EP coming over my re-raise and didnt want to lose Villian. Villian would have called anyway which wouldve been fine.

Re: Had the read but lost to 2 outer
If anyone seriously thinks I could've played it any differently.
And Joe, please...another snide remark from you is not necessary. Kind Regards, KC |

Re: Had the read but lost to 2 outer
The problem is that this is just a bad beat story and these forums are really meant for strategy.

Ok sorry then...
I know it was a bad beat, a horrible beat in fact.
But I wasnt whining at all and was serious wanting to know if anyone plays it different. Kind Regards, KC |

KC50-
I think everyone is being a bit harsh in this thread. You're a good player and you got your money in as a huge favorite. Don't be hard on yourself about this beat. These are the guys that pay your bills. You played it fine. Good luck, KoW |

Re: Had the read but lost to 2 outer
The reason why No lim players get touche around bad beats is that when you're a 95% favorite, you're going to lose 5% of the time. It's as good as it gets in this game, and if someone is going to call their whole stack for these odds, the least you can do is pay them off on the rare occasions where they hit. You didn't do anything wrong, but you know that deep down. Some of the players on here have lost thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars when their opponents had only one or two cards left in the deck and still hit. It's the nature of the game. Better luck next time, stud.
