Have you played any SH other than 5/10? Party 1/2? Paradise 1/2 or 3/6? Pokerstars 2/4?

Looks to me like you need to before trying 5/10 again. This (probably) isn't just bad luck here.

You are way too tight and passive for 6 max.
If I recall correctly people gave you this advice in the HUSH forum when your downswing was about half what it is now.
If you can't make the necessary changes to your game then go back to full ring.

As much as I am not a fan of downswing posts, it looks like this one has you really effed in the A by the poker gods. I hope it turns around for you soon, good luck.

Look, your 6-max numbers are way off on every point. If that's your game, you need to loosen up a lot! /v

I've been struggling at Party also. My stats for 30,000 hands are:

$3/$6 VP$IP 14.06 WTSD 31.1 WMASD 53.62

$5/$10 VP$IP 15.14 WTSD 33.81 WMASD 52.95

How do I compare to some of you that are doing well the past few months?

Bill, what is the software you are using to track stats. Is that Poker Tracker? How do you like it and have you tried anything else?

BTW, with the effort you put forth to understand the game I'm sure results will turn around. Good luck.

I think that you should stay far away from 6-max games. You are, at best, a marginal winner in the Party 5/10 6-max.

For 15,000 hands this year on Party:

$3/$6 VP$IP 14.65 WTSD% 29.00 WMASD% 57.19 BB/100 0.93

For just February (7000 hands):

$3/$6 VP$IP 15.19 WTSD% 30.48 WMASD% 57.38 BB/100 1.12

So this year has not been particularly stellar. Pretty much always an uphill battle. I usually will have a string of 3 or 4 decent nights in a row, then have a -50 BB night even things out.

Seems like Wednesday and Thursday nights after 8 p.m. EDT are much better times to play than any other.

To mix it up, I played the $15k guaranteed last night on Empire, and came in 5th for $750 -- really saved the month. (Pretty amazing, considering that I lost QQ to TT on the river, built my stack back up, then blew 75% of it with 26 people left due to a misclick on my laptop. Put some serious bad beats on others -- QT vs. KT, J9 vs KJ, J4 vs KQs, 93 vs KJ -- while attempting to bust out so that I could go to sleep. Funny how things work, huh?)
