0.5/$1 and $1/$2 (Pretty Graphs!)

I just cracked the 25k hand mark since purchacing Poker Tracker. I've also been going through somewhat of a slump recently. It seemed to be a good time for some navel pondering and analysis. I have about 10k hands at $0.50/$1 and about 15k at $1/$2. Too small of a sample, I know. But for what it's worth....

I posted the most striking thing I noticed earlier. My BB/100 for .5/1 is about 3.7, while my 1/2 is only about 0.1. Now, for the pretty graphics!

This is a graph showing my total winnings at .5/1 in blue, and my average BB/100 in yellow.



The upswing about 1/3 of the way in was arround the time I finished SSHE. I hope that this is a corralation.

I like this graph. It makes me happy.

I don't like this graph, it's pretty weak. 15k hands, and I'm up $8. Now, who knows, I could go on a 5 BB/100 tear for the next month. Actually, I'm kind of hoping for that.

Play at both levels has been about the same. PT vitals are close, but as bisonbison pointed out the other day, that doesn't mean much.

Depending on how much you play if you get a rake back deal then you might be able to still have a .1BB/100 win and get some real $$ out of it [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Well, with whoring bonuses, my bankroll has steadily increased.

But, I'm running out of bonuses to do. Your point about rakeback is true, that will be of some help.

But still, it's harsh seeing that I'm making more playing $.5/$1 than $1/$2. It's got to turn arround, and I'm only getting better.

Okay, so I checked my actual rake figures.

For .5/1, I paid a total of $256, for $1/2, $689. Assuming a 10% rakeback, thats .25 BB/100 at .5/1 and .46 BB/100 at 1/2. Guess it's something, eh?

Take heart. I'm "making more" playing .5/1 than 2/4 after 17K at .5/1 and 8K at 2/4.

Shouldn't last forever.
