Default A hand reading exercise

Button is loose, particularly when he has the button. He has openlimped monsters like Q5o and 74s from that position in the past. SB is tight (about 18/5) preflop but somewhat aggressive postflop; he's more likely to bet a draw than call with one, for example.

Party 2/4 6-max, effective stacks $540.

Folds around to button who openlimps, SB completes, BB raps.

Flop is: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($12)

SB bets $10, BB folds, button raises to $25, SB reraises to $80, button reraises to $175, SB pushes, button calls.

Who's got what?

Button: 85s, 35s?, 88, 55, 33. Could be also a monster draw but OP didn't mention anything about his post-flop tendencies so I expect him to play one more passive.

SB: 88, 55, 33, 46c, 67c, A5c.

I'll take a guess:

SB: straight and flush draw, 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], or set

Button: two pair or set

Button has two pair, I'll go for 83o as a guess but any combo will do.

He'd raise with PP on button.

SB looks like a set or the str8 and flush draw. I'm leaning toward a set. I'll go with 88. Otherwise 67 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] looks right.

SB: Either 55 or some combination of straight and flush draw.

BTN: AA

Buttons pathetic raises suggest he has a hand he really wants SB to play on with, he clearly doesnt care what SB has. So I think button has top set.

SB appears to want button out, several times could have called and c/r but chose not to, so A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] seem most likely to me.

Button had 8h3h for top and bottom two pair. SB had 6c5c for a pair+flush draw. I was quite suprised that button made the call of the all-in as there is absolutely nothing in SB's hand range that he's in fantastic shape against and a lot of hands he's crushed by (sets, top two). Even against the draw, he's not exactly way ahead. I was surprised by SB's hand as well; I figured him for the OESFD if he was drawing and a set if he wasn't.
