Default Re: Question about odds vs. percentages, inspired by Arieh

Just think of both numbers in the odds as parts of 100. so, as mentioned ealier, 3 to 1 (total of 4, divided into 100) is 25%. 4 to 1 (total 5....100/5= 20%) ; 6 to 1.....total 7, 100/7= 14.25%, etc

An academic? You learn how to convert fractions and percentages in about the 3rd grade, perhaps earlier.
