Default River checkraise

Button is passive and very loose.
Never saw him raise preflop.
Frequently showed down losing hands.
Clearly he got something here, but the only hand Im worried about is KJ.
He could just as well have two pair or a set.
I figured the checkraise on the river would be the best way to get his stack.
Since he raised the turn I felt sure he would bet the river.
Thoughts?

Why pot the flop with a straight draw, three people left to act,
and an ace on the board?

I think its a good time for a semi-bluff because you act in early position and you can build a nice pot for yourself to take down if you hit your straight. But the check is ok even if I prefer the bet.

I prefer to bet draws OOP aswell, I dunno if it's a bad habit or whatever but i always seem to get their stacks when I hit playing like that and winning small pots when I hit playing them passively
