What's with the * user titles?

I've been seeing lots of people with user title "*". What's that?

Based on observations, I believe it's a counting system used by astroglide (and maybe [censored]).

It appears to be astro counting strikes against posters in OOT. I kinda like it.

I think it's great, especially that people can redeem themselves by making good posts, and remove their "strikes".

Although suggesting that K's Deal deserved two *'s in one of his threads resulted in a great PM where he asked why "I hate him so much". lol

Banning isn't very useful. He was already banned as K Steel (or something very similar).
